About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Libertyville, Illinois, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. You will communicate with employees and visitors and respond professionally to security-related concerns.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout facilities, including building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
