About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Lithia Springs, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients, visitors, drivers, and employees. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication, responding to alarms and other concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to applicable background and drug screening requirements. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter; deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor site access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle records.
Document patrols, incidents, and security observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
