About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The officer will help safeguard the property by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and supporting badge and access control activities. The role also involves customer service and clear communication with tenants, visitors, vendors, property management, and colleagues. The position is scheduled for overnight shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
Document incidents, patrol findings, and unusual conditions according to site procedures.
Help maintain an orderly environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or property concerns, and communicating professionally with occupants and visitors.
