About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a healthcare location in Richardson, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role uses technology to document activity and communicate clearly, while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The position pays $19.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and site information, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
