About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - 2nd Shift in Waterloo, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This is an unarmed, driving post involving routine patrols, vehicle operation, monitoring assigned areas, and helping deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site-specific procedures.
Report hazards, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
