About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for controlled entry at a construction-related location in Modesto, California. The officer will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, report security-related concerns, deter unauthorized access, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role pays $21.18 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The position includes access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Manage entry points and verify authorized access.
• Monitor activity and report security-related concerns.
• Help deter unauthorized access.
