About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Controlled Entry in Albertville, Alabama, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and conducting routine patrols. You will maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while providing customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The role is full time and pays $13.45 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor designated entry points and verify identification, authorization, delivery appointments, and visitor or contractor credentials according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, contractors, drivers, vehicle arrivals and departures, and access-control activities; report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
