About The Position

As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including healthcare. In this healthcare access-control role, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while addressing security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor requirements in accordance with site policies.
Maintain accurate access-control and visitor records, issue and collect credentials as assigned, and report discrepancies through established channels.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns within the healthcare location.
