About The Position

As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Operations in Delray Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and tenants professionally, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. The role includes customer service, access-control procedures, incident response, and patrols of the property.

Requirements

For unarmed roles, be at least 18 years of age; for armed roles, be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel, and document observations in required reports.
