About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology data center in Sparks, Nevada. The officer will safeguard employees, contractors, visitors, vendors, and the facility by patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.21 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency-response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Communicate observed conditions, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
