About The Position
As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service and clear communication to help create a welcoming environment. The role is full-time and pays $23.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- At least five years of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state-, county-, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
- Communicate observations, incidents, and potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
