About The Position

As a Security Officer - Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Tempe, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming environment and respond to security-related needs with integrity and teamwork. This is a part-time position scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures, financial institution policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
