About The Position

As an experienced unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Austin, Texas, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the site. You will maintain a visible presence, monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, support access control, respond to alarms and emergencies, and provide customer service and clear communication. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, paying $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and directing authorized individuals.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
