About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. No prior experience is required; training and help acquiring a security license are offered. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour, paid weekly. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2 PM to 10 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
