About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Rosemont, Illinois, you will help safeguard clients and create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. The role involves visible and routine patrols, responding to security-related concerns, communicating clearly, and delivering customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:01 AM to 12:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity according to site procedures; report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
