Security Officer Part Time Weekends
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Appleton, Wisconsin. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position pays $18.03 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor site access, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, hazards, and security-related observations in accordance with company and site procedures.
