About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guest Relations in South Bend, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal with integrity and teamwork. This is a full-time position paying $17.69 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
