Security Officer Patrol

About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol security officer at a logistics and distribution location in Dallas, Texas, you will safeguard employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support a welcoming environment, and provide customer service. The role involves communicating clearly, using technology to document activities, following site-specific procedures, and responding to incidents and emergencies. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures according to location requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support the orderly movement of personnel and vehicles at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location while maintaining professional communication.
