About The Position

The Security Patrol Officer monitors and patrols assigned areas of the property and provides aid to guests and team members concerning their safety and security. Officers interact professionally and warmly with guests, help resolve concerns, conduct routine patrols, document and address unusual findings, investigate claims, make recommendations, and take action as needed. The role requires working knowledge of computerized systems and effective oral and written communication. This is a casual position.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Security Officer or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current Hawaii Guard Card Certification.

• Prior experience in a luxury environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property using specified equipment, check designated points, and document actions taken.
• Ensure guest room doors are secured and assist guests and residents with room access.
• Investigate suspicious persons on the property.
• Investigate theft or lost-item reports, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest and resident complaints; complete documented reports.
• Respond promptly to guest and team member accidents, administer first aid and CPR, and communicate required information to EMS or medical personnel.
• Respond to scenes involving guests or team members fighting.
• Follow state regulations and property guidelines for handling intoxicated guests and residents.
• Resolve safety hazards and coordinate vehicle towing.
