About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Roseville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a retail setting. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. You will provide customer service and communicate clearly while responding to concerns professionally and with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly, using a problem-solving approach and escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the business perimeter.
Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and help maintain an orderly environment for customers and employees.
