About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Bruni, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a utilities location. This is an unarmed patrol role supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while helping protect operations and property. You will provide customer service and clear communication, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents in accordance with site procedures. The position is full-time, with a pay rate of $12.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of wind energy facilities, access roads, equipment areas, buildings, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, hazardous weather conditions, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns, and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
