About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The officer will serve as a front desk representative, welcoming visitors, managing building access, monitoring activity, and providing customer service and clear communication to tenants, guests, vendors, and staff. The role calls for a visible, professional presence and adherence to site-specific procedures and security policies. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.45 per hour. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at the commercial real estate front desk while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Monitor building access, verify visitor credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and communicate entry instructions to guests and vendors.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
Receive and route calls, deliveries, and service requests while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in the lobby.
Report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
