About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, serving a financial institution. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, reports security-related concerns, and provides professional customer service to visitors and staff. The role supports a welcoming and orderly environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants must meet the minimum age and education requirements and are subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points at financial-services locations.
Monitor access points and security-related systems; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Follow visitor-management procedures, provide directions, and report maintenance or security-related concerns to help maintain an orderly environment.
