About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and communicate professionally with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., at $14.73 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the store, sales floor, stockroom, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Help deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other prohibited activity through a professional presence and timely reporting.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations according to company and site-specific reporting procedures.
