About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer to serve a food and beverage production location in Prince George, Virginia. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role involves responding to incidents and alarms, following site procedures, documenting observations and activities, and helping maintain an orderly environment. The listed pay rate is $16.44 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
Document patrol observations, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities through accurate reports and communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
