About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to support a food and beverage production location in Prince George, Virginia. The officer will provide customer service while monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and documenting activity using computer or tablet systems. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $16.44 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Monitor access, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report access-control concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations and actions, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Support orderly movement of personnel, deliveries, and vehicles while following facility requirements and site protocols.
Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and assist visitors and employees.
