About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Disputanta, Virginia. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and helping deter security-related incidents. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication, using computer or tablet systems as needed, and following site-specific procedures and policies. The posted pay rate is $17.51 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor site access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, exit, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Observe and report hazards, damaged property, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues that may affect operations or facility access.
