About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to serve and safeguard clients in industries including Tech/Media/Telecom. Officers use the Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on availability, with opportunities to gain experience across various industries and pursue career growth. The position pays $17.75 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
