About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Rockford, Illinois. The role involves safeguarding employees and visitors by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to routine concerns, and providing professional customer service. The position pays $21.88 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
A Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or security concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
