About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering customer service and professional communication. The position requires a valid driver’s license. The listed pay rate is $16.50 per hour, and the schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents, observations, and operational needs.
