About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a gated residential community in Anaheim, California. The officer will help create a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor access, and responding to security-related concerns. The role includes remaining visible, conducting routine patrols, providing customer service, and communicating observations and incidents. The position is listed as a mix shift and pays $22.00 per hour. The published schedule is Thursday and Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Promptly report observations, incidents, and maintenance or access-control concerns through required communication channels, and complete detailed documentation.
