About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location in Coto De Caza, California, you will help safeguard the property and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations. The position is scheduled for swing shift, Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A guard card or license.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations by following established post orders and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe property conditions, documenting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
