About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Whitsett, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. The role involves communicating professionally and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday and Thursday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, at a pay rate of $16.89 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with company and site requirements.
