About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government transportation location in Pearl City, Hawaii. The officer will provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors while monitoring and patrolling transit property. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, following site-specific procedures, documenting observations and actions, and communicating with transit staff, supervisors, dispatch, and law enforcement. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.96 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, perimeter areas, and adjacent transit property.
Monitor access points, pedestrian traffic, and restricted areas; verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations; assist as needed, notify emergency responders when appropriate, and document actions taken.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with supervisors, dispatch, transit personnel, and law enforcement about incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security observations.
