About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Milpitas, California, to serve and safeguard clients at a technology location. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires professional communication, response to security-related concerns, and strong customer service. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.
A guard card or license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications according to site-specific requirements.
