Security Officer Part Time Entry Screening
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for entry screening at a logistics and distribution location in Walton, Kentucky. The officer will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, screening visitors and deliveries, and documenting activity. The role also includes remaining visible, conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. The stated pay rate is $15.95 per hour, paid weekly. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and manage access according to site requirements.
- Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers, and deliveries as directed by site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
