About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in East Hills, New York. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, and staff by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, providing customer service, and responding professionally to security concerns. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.94 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
