About The Position

As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors. Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security policies.
Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
Monitor assigned access points, cameras, alarms, and building systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and maintain clear, accurate records and shift reports.
