About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate clearly, and provide customer service while working with a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.58 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe building activity; report maintenance concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
