About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for patrol and risk prevention at a manufacturing and industrial location in Louisville, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard the site, maintain a visible security presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role provides customer service, follows site-specific security procedures, responds to routine concerns, and supports emergency response activities as appropriate. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Observe truck traffic, trailer staging areas, and restricted operational zones to support delivery and shipment flow and help deter unauthorized access.
