About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Miami, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail and shopping destination. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service to guests, tenants, visitors, retailers, and staff. The role involves professional communication, reporting security-related concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information in alignment with Allied Universal and location requirements.
