About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at an Allied Universal logistics and distribution location in Louisville, Kentucky, you will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that values integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and delivery check-in procedures according to site requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Help deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy concerns.
