About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Hazard Prevention in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at commercial real estate locations. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to concerns.

The position is full-time, with scheduled shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $17.85 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, helping maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized individuals.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate professionally with property personnel and the public.
