Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Prevention
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for Allied Universal in Columbus, Ohio, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders. The role calls for a customer-focused approach and a commitment to supporting a secure environment as part of a reliable team. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $17.98 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations and required information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site-specific procedures.
- Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, irregularities, and security-related activities using required reporting tools.
