About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Rancho Cordova, California. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible professional presence to help deter security incidents and unauthorized access, and supports a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role involves customer service, clear communication, following site-specific procedures, and responding to incidents. The posted schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, documenting and reporting security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and activity around shipments and facility operations, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Help deter unauthorized access and potential loss by maintaining a professional presence and following site-specific procedures.
