About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Portland, Oregon, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a critical infrastructure location to help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide customer service. This is a part-time position scheduled for daytime hours on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.25 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Support access control activities and communicate professionally with visitors and staff.
