Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver X Ray Screening
About The Position
As a full-time Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in San Jose, California, you will help safeguard clients, employees, contractors, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. The role uses communication and observation skills to support site operations and represent Allied Universal with integrity and teamwork. The position pays $24.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements, document observations, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and escalate matters when needed.
- Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
