About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned technology-focused site in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Employees may build their schedule up to 40 hours per week and may scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $18.69 per hour. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, loading areas, and other assigned locations; identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance; assist with directing guests and verifying authorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document activities, and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and follow post orders relating to technology equipment, restricted areas, and confidential workspaces.
