About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help maintain a secure environment by operating X-ray screening equipment, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help identify and report security-related concerns while supporting smooth operations.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures, which may include verifying identification, checking credentials, and controlling access to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity, unauthorized access, or policy violations, and promptly report observations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
