About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Riverside, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and controlling site access. You will remain visible to deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security operations through observation and reporting. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to identify unauthorized activity and potential security concerns.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
